|Rob Harborne (Technical Director)
Rob is a professional engineer with nearly 30 years’ experience of aerospace structural analysis. He has been involved in analysis and testing of a range of aircraft structures, systems and interiors for BAE SYSTEMS, Airbus, Boeing, GKN and Messier-Dowty. Over the last 6 years he has been instrumental in the development of the Fixed Trailing Edge of the A350XWB-900 for GE Aviation. His key skills include static analysis, finite-element modelling, F&DT and experience of running multi-disciplinary teams.
Rob is a delegated GE Aviation (AP1020) Airbus Static Composites approver.
|Ben Barrass (Managing Director)
Ben is a professional engineer who has 25+ years’ experience within aerospace structural analysis. He has primarily worked programmes for BAE SYSTEMS (Harrier/AV-8B), Boeing (777), Airbus, but has experience of many other varied tasks. Over the last 6 years he has been instrumental in the development of the Fixed Trailing Edge of the A350XWB-900 for GE Aviation. His main specialities include all aspects of static & fatigue stress analysis, with an emphasis on Finite Element Modelling.
Ben is a delegated GE Aviation (AP1020) Airbus Static Metallic and FEM approver. He is also a delegated (AP1020) Airbus F&DT approver for ASSystem.
We are a small organisation that fluctuates from 10 to 20 engineers depending on current work packages. Currently, the team consists of a small set of highly (20-30 years’ plus) experienced engineers, complimented by a further group of dedicated, younger, motivated individuals.
